After being hired on as a level designer I ended up becoming the art director to better realize the lead's vision. It was a really good learning experience and I was complimented on the very noticeable improvement on the game's artstyle.
This game was my introduction to game development, up until this project I had just been modding and mapping for other games. While not my most successful endeavour it will always hold a special place in my heart.
With the deadline for raiding Area-51 being only a few weeks away Blake Gillman and I worked overtime to get this game out there for everyone to play. It was really fun to take community feedback and design awesome maps (Gate is still my favorite).
